Description: Library Cable Network is a public access television station cablecast by three local providers, Comcast, Wide Open West and RCN. 2000 census figures show LCN member libraries exceed 200,000 patrons. It has recorded over 1200 programs since its inception. Currently in the consortium are Arlington Heights Memorial Library, Des Plaines Public Library, Prospect Heights Public Library District and Skokie Public Library. Each of the four member libraries has equal committee representation and meet regularly.
