Description: PHD is a non-profit organiztion dedicated to providing professional counseling, education, and support services to anyone facing issues relating to pregnancy and its continuing challenges. Our Independence Hightway Program empowers youth on topics of adolescent pregnancy, STD/STI, peer pressure, abusive relationships, media influence on adolescents, refusal skills and goal setting. Our "Now We're Talking" Program provides parents with the tools to coach adolescents toward healthy relationships. We also offer support groups for single mom and family/grandparent; adoption decision making, post-abortion counseling, and grief and loss counseling. Other educational programs include: budget and career counseling, parenting seminars.
