Description: The Palatine Children's Chorus began in 1987 with 18 members. Over 180 children ages 5-18 are now singing in five levels under the direction of Susan Falbo and Melissa Laabs. The Concert Choir participated in the International Music Festival in Niagara Falls, Canada, the National Children's Chorus at Carnegie Hall, and the International Children's Choir Festival in Great Britain, and are included in many Chicagoland area festivals. The State proclaimed July 21,2001 Palatine Childrens Chorus Days in Illinois. Honors Choir travelled to New York City in August, 2004 where they performed at Ground Zero, Ellis Island, and St. Patrick's Cathedral. The Concert Choir participated in the 2005 Pacific Rim Children's Chorus Festival in Hawaii. In the Fall 2005, the Honors Choir changed from all treble voices to a mixed-voice ensemble.
