Description: A three-time national Gold Medal Award winner in Parks and Recreation management, the Arlington Heights Park District meets the leisure needs of 32,000 households. The community is
served by five neighborhood centers offering programs and activities along with an outdoor pool, tennis courts, playgrounds and athletic fields. With 59 parks, there's a playground or tot lot within walking distance of most residents.
Special interest facilities include: Olympic Indoor Swim Center, Arlington Lakes and Nickol Knoll Golf Clubs, Heritage Tennis Club and Forest View Racquet & Fitness Club, Lake Arlington, Melas Park's premier athletic fields, and the downtown North School Park with summer concerts and a winter holiday display.
