Hts., and the Arlington Heights Park District. Membership is open to all persons 14 yrs of age and older who play wind and percussion intruments. No audtions are required. Currently the band has more than 50 active members. There are openings for musicians in all sections. The band owns a number of instruments that are made available to its members. The band is under the professional direction of Marvin Koch. It presents a series of indoor concerts Sept. - June and outdoor concerts at various locations during the summer months. The band and its sub-units, The Arlington Jazz Exchange Big Band and the Arlington Brass Ensemble are available to perform at village community functions, senior centers and retirement communities..
