Description: Children's Home and Aid's childcare resource and referral office is a community partner agency of Action For Children. We provide educational trainings, resources, assistance with professional development funds and consultation services to Early Childhood home-based and center-based providers. Early childhood mental health consultation services are available on request to assist providers in their work with young children who are showing signs of behavioral and social-emotional problems and/or developmental delays. Nurse consultation services are available to assist providers in their work re: children's health and safety concerns. Services are free to all child care providers in Cook County. Children's Home and Aid is a private not-for-profit agency that works in collaboration with other organizations, programs and individuals who are committed to improving the quality and accessibility of child care in Illinois.
