August 31st, 2010

Date and time: Saturday, September 4, 10 a.m.

If you have always used our print investment resources in our Business Center, now is the perfect time to get acquainted with their online equivalents. More and more publishers are migrating to an exclusively online format, and this trend will probably continue. While we currently subscribe to most of these sources in print, we are concerned that you will only be able to access these resources online in the near future. In this class you will learn how to use Morningstar online which is available on the Library’s web site.

Register online or at the Reception Desk, 847-392-0100.

Save Time at the Drive-Up

August 12th, 2010

drive_thru

If you have a lot to do (and who doesn’t these days?) and not enough time, use your computer and the Library’s drive-up window to get what you need. Go online and reserve your books, movies and music. When they are ready, we’ll email you, and you can pick them up at the drive-up window located in the underground parking lot. If you need to drop off materials, there’s a book drop right next to it – perfect for a quick stop while out running your errands.

Don’t forget, the Library’s drive-up window is now open Monday–Friday, beginning at 8 a.m., so you can pick things up before you go to work.
